This policy explains what information CanonicalTag.com handles when you visit it or use its tools.
Reading the site
You do not need an account to read anything here, and the site asks for no personal information. The site uses Statcounter, a third-party analytics service, to count visits and see which pages are read. Statcounter records standard technical information such as browser type, device, referring page and approximate location, and may set cookies. The web server also keeps ordinary access logs.
The free tools
The canonical tag generator, validator and hreflang generator run entirely in your browser; nothing you type into them is sent anywhere. The canonical tag checker and bulk checker send the URLs you enter to this site's server, which fetches those pages on your behalf. The URLs are used only to produce your result and are not stored or logged by the tool. A short-lived record keyed to a one-way hash of your IP address is kept to enforce rate limits.
If you email the site, the message and your address are used only to reply to you.
